Be cautious if you are asked for a registration fee, deposit or payment simply to access an opportunity.
2. You are asked to move money for someone else
Do not agree to receive, transfer or forward money through your personal bank account on behalf of another person or business.
3. Someone asks for your login credentials
Never share your Singpass password, banking password or other account login details as part of a work opportunity.
4. The work itself is difficult to explain
You should be able to understand the basic task, schedule and compensation before agreeing to an assignment. Extremely vague instructions deserve further checking.
5. You are pressured to decide immediately
Be cautious if someone tries to prevent you from reading the details or asking reasonable questions before committing.
Take enough time to understand an opportunity before proceeding. A legitimate assignment should be able to explain the important details clearly.
